Full-Time MBA Profile

The 1-year Full-Time MBA is the School’s flagship program with 100+ MBA students.
The Program starts with the Opening Week: a one-week MBA boot camp, during which you are asked to understand and live the essence of your forthcoming year.
Full-Time MBA structure is organized around three cornerstones: Planning and Innovation, Leading people and Processes, Controlling and Investment. These core courses represent the competence requirements of a global manager.
Students spend the first eight months of the program taking foundation courses and developing management skills followed by a two-month real-world, hands-on experience (individual internship or entrepreneurial project), plus final Concentrations. In addition to 4 functional-based Concentrations, such as Finance, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Marketing, the SDA Bocconi Full-Time MBA Program offers participants the possibility to further personalize their development through the field-based Concentration in Luxury Business Management (LBM) in partnership with GUCCI, LVMH and Valentino, the renowned leaders in the worldwide luxury business. This unique option is one of the very few Concentrations in Luxury Business Management within a top ranked International MBA.
The very last part of the MBA will take place in the Arrivederci Week: Arts and Business, The Sharing Economy, Government-related Finance, The Transformational Impact of Big Data Marketing, and first-hand “Made in Italy” business models and Blue Chip Companies.

Global Executive MBA Profile

The Global Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a modular program which provides a high-quality business education for executives who desire to expand the scope of their careers and lead global challenges.
The Global EMBA is a launching pad for future career phases and an integrated preparation for senior management roles.
The GEMBA takes place at SDA Bocconi, in the center of Milano, a city that combines a dynamic global reality while reflecting the unique aspects of the European marketplace. Gaining this kind of understanding and experience will be essential when projecting your future career.
In addition, four modules are conducted at international partner schools: Michigan Ross School of Business (Ann Arbor, MI), Copenhagen Business School, Mumbai International School of Business, China Europe International Business School (Shanghai).   • The first months students take foundation and delving deeper courses centered around 3 topics - Planning & Innovating, Controlling & Investing and Leading People & Processes; next, 8 to 12 weeks are dedicated to real-world experience - Summer Projects;  final stage includes field-based Luxury Business Management Concentration, (May-November) as well as 4 functional Concentrations (final 2 months)
  • Summer Projects include the following activities:
    • individual internships (strong connection that may turn into a job offer) - vast network of international recruiters of all industries who interview and select students for individual internship projects;
    • entrepreneurial projects - under the supervision of a professor in entrepreneurship participants create their own business plan, organize a start-up or contribute to a company business development project;
    • research papers - under the supervision of a Faculty member and upon approval of the MBA Director
