Times have been challenging for everyone in 2020. It has been a turbulent year, what with the global pandemic, work from home practices, and changes in business school studies and teaching formats.
To address these challenges and shine a light on the many ambitious business professionals who are looking for learning opportunities now more than ever, Access MBA has launched a new biannual MBA scholarship. Starting from the autumn of 2020, each event participant has already had the chance to win EUR 1,000 to help finance their business school studies.
Today, we are happy to introduce the winner of the 2020 Fall Tour.
Meet the first Access MBA scholarship recipient
Ms Aleksandra Przygoda will receive the scholarship of EUR 1,000 to partially cover the tuition fee for her business school studies. In December 2020, she took part in the Access MBA Online Event in Warsaw, Poland.
In an interview for Access MBA, she highlighted the value of her meetings with business school representatives and expressed her motivation to advance her professional and personal development with an MBA.
“I decided to participate in the event because it seemed like a good setting to learn about a variety of MBA programmes,” she told Access MBA. “Each meeting was different but they each offered clear answers about their respective programmes – whether this was relating to admissions, the faculty, the programme itself, or funding possibilities.”
Aleksandra is a PR and project manager and currently takes the role of operations manager at Forum Energii.
How to become eligible for the next scholarship
If you are also looking for the right study programme and for opportunities for financial aid, our new scholarship initiative can help you accomplish your goals.
Each participant in an Access MBA event can freely take part in the draw for a chance to win EUR 1,000, regardless of their nationality or age. After registering for an online or in-person event in your region, you will receive all the necessary information to make the most of your event participation. This includes the time schedule, useful links and preparation resources, as well as the participating business schools and their MBA representatives that you will be able to connect with. Follow this information closely because it may contain guidance for your participation in the scholarship draw.
During the event, participants have to take part in at least three meetings with business school representatives to be eligible for the final prize.
At the end of each fall and spring tour season, the event organisers draw one name at random from the pool of eligible participants.
Previous prizes and initiatives
Before launching the Access MBA scholarship, professionals had the opportunity to win a campus visit to a business school of their choice. Campus visits are an excellent way to get to know the culture and community of a particular institution, so that prospective applicants can make their final decision on where to study. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing measures around the world, in-person campus visits are not the safest option anymore and most of these events have moved online.
The new Access MBA scholarship initiative is a worthy successor to the campus visit prize.
