Maastricht School of Management (MSM) (The Netherlands) and Herzing University (US) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of offering a double MBA degree.
The good news for future MBA candidates comes after MSM’s Associate Dean Kati Kovacs visited Herzing University and had fruitful discussions with Orlando Campus President Heather Antonacci, Director Andrea Houser, and Graduate and Undergraduate Business Programme Chair and Professor Gordana Pesakovic. The representatives of the two institutions of higher education exchanged views on a possible collaboration in the form of a double degree MBA programme with the aim of starting in the autumn of 2018.
Maastricht School of Management has already expressed enthusiasm over the initiative and the possibility to work together with the US university. “We believe that the programmes, knowledge, and experience of Herzing University will greatly complement the MSM portfolio. The double degree programme will cater to the busy students from the US who would like the international exposure and will be a great opportunity for students from around the world to experience both Maastricht and their chosen Herzing campus location, or if preferred, take the courses online,” says Kati Kovacs.
MSM’s Associate Dean also emphasised the value of the new flexible alternatives that will open up for prospective students once the double MBA degree becomes available. “It’s all about flexibility, global exposure, and high quality. The more opportunities we give to the students during their study, the better they will be able to contribute to a global and sustainable world,” adds Ms Kovacs.
