Could you please tell us about your background?
I was born in France and studied in Paris to graduate in 1994 with a Bachelor in Economics at Dauphine University. As my ultimate objective was to start my career with an international background, I joined Dauphine’s exchange program with an American university. I graduated at Nicholls State University, Louisiana, in 1995 with an MBA in Management and Marketing. My first job out of school was at a Media Buying Agency in New York City, where I learned about all aspects of the traditional advertising business. I pursued my career in France, after a year backpacking around the world, joining the Internet bubble in 2000. I have been working for more than three years at Keljob.com, a job search engine on Internet, as a Marketing Director.
How has your MBA helped your career?
Getting an MBA as an international student in the USA was a life-changing experience! It gave me the ability to better work with cultural differences, and my desire to evolve professionally in an international environment got stronger. I can also say that, as I got my master prior to entering the business world, which is not the usual process, my MBA helped me acquire a professional attitude and strategic thinking.
