UVA Darden Executive MBA
The Executive MBA Program offers two executive formats Executive MBA (EMBA) and Global Executive MBA (GEMBA). EMBA and GEMBA format students learn side-by-side, progressing together through the 21-months of the program. The hybrid delivery of the program is ideal for working professionals - with two-thirds of the content delivered in-person and one-third online. The preferred work experience minimum for the Executive MBA program is five (5) years, and the full work experience range for the class is typically around 5 to 25+ years, with an average of 12-13 years of work experience. Darden’s Part-Time MBA format, based in the Washington, D.C., area, offers busy working professionals the opportunity to earn the world-class Darden MBA in a convenient evening-based schedule.  Hybrid in design and consisting of in-person and virtual components, the Part-Time MBA features a cohort-based core curriculum followed by an elective period. During the elective period, students have the flexibility to speed up or slow down their course of study as their life and career demands, completing the program in anywhere from 28 to 48 months.
